The E23 is a 1-to-2-year multiple-entry work visa for active employment, but it strictly forbids any activities outside your job description and re-entry without a valid permit.

For foreign nationals wanting to work for and receive compensation from an Indonesian company.

With this visa, you can
Work for and earn money from an Indonesian company.
Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
Bring eligible members of your family.
Travel to and from and live in Indonesia as long as your permit is valid.
With this visa, you cannot
Stay in Indonesia after your visa expires.
Perform work that is not in accordance with your job description.
Making sales of goods or services, unless required in the employment.
Requirements
Passport validity
Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
Recent photograph
A recent color portrait photograph of you.
Personal bank statement
Min. USD $2,000 covering the last 3 months (name, date, and balance).

!From the worker!
∙ Curriculum Vitae Upload your full curriculum vitae (CV).
∙ Education Certificate Certificate of your completed education.
!From the employer!
∙ Company Documents Indonesian company formation documents of the employer. Including the stamp and logo.
∙ID Card ID card of accompanying local workers (minimum 6).
∙Salary Amount Document stating the salary of the worker.
∙Work Location Work location / confirmation if outside the registered address.
∙Employment Contract Employment contract between the employer and the worker.
∙WLKP Information about the WLKP account.
∙BPJS Number Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial number of the company.
